How do you explain anointed people who are very humble and loving?

i knew someone in florida who was also of the anointed, supposedly.
she was very kind as well and very quiet and humble.

I've only known one guy who was sane (I know, I know) that claimed to be of the annointed. He was a very down to earth, and humble brother, almost like a grandfather or older uncle.
On the other hand, I've know others who claimed to be annointed who were visibly disturbed in the head. There's an annointed woman on this message board who's completely insane, although she doesn't know it. May she have peace!!!!! Counts down to when she notices this and gets in my butt.............5, 4, 3, ..........

Great story, but I can't help feel that its incomplete because you didn't answer the door!!!!! I would have loved to be a fly on the wall if you would have answered the door, just to see her face!! If i were you, and the kid wasn't with your pregnant ex, and it was some other adult, I would have answered the door butt naked, like "hey honey. It's good to see you again. You're looking swelled, oops I mean well!"

Exactly. I shake my head in disbelief at how so many people, including myself, never realized how simple this is. I've stood on platforms and stated pretty much what you posted here, about the need for us to have faith because today we haven't been exposed to anything supernatural or miraculous, unlike the ancient Israelites. When one steps back momentarily, and examines the organization even with an unbiased yet critical eye, it becomes so blatently obvious that this is an organization made up of men, and directed by men. There's an older brother in my congregation who absolutely loves this organization, and loves the GB, even going so far as to pray for them when they have their weekly meeting on Wednesdays because as he says it, "they have so many difficult decisions to make." I just shake my head in my heart, and don't bother saying amen after he finishes. He sees them as God's chosen representatives on the earth feeding his elect and the other sheep spiritually. I see several old white dudes and one token black, mooching off of the so called "other sheep", all in the name of Jehovah. It's a joke.

I was getting ready to do a thread on porn, but noticed this. A neighboring congregation just lost a ministerial servant and another congregation has put a baptized brother is on restrictions due to porn. I know we often talk about apostacy being the GB's main concern with the internet, but we may be mistaken, because online porn is hurting them pretty bad right now.
